Dark Heart: Tom didn't read the novels before filming the series

A new interview with Tom Riley promoting Dark Heart for US audiences has been syndicated in the US press. In a surprising reveal, Tom didn't read acclaimed novel Suffer The Children by Adam Creed - which the series is based on - before filming. Read the interview in full on this site. Dark Heart episode 4 is on ITV at 9pm tonight, with Tom Riley as DI Wagstaffe. BritBox subscribers in the US and Canada should also be able to see the episode. Dark Heart: new video clips from episodes 3 and 4

As well as broadcasting on ITV in UK, BritBox in US and Canada, and ITV Choice in Africa, Dark Heart with Tom Riley as DI Wagstaffe is also being shown in Ireland on the Virgin Media One channel - running one day behind the UK. Virgin Media One has shared a promo trailer for this week's episodes, which includes new scenes from the show we haven't seen before!

Vodzilla has posted a lovely review for Dark Heart, and Tom Riley's performance as DI Will Wagstaffe. Episodes 1 and 2 of the 6 part series are available to catch up on the ITV Hub. Episodes 3 and 4 will broadcast this Wednesday 7th November and Thursday 8th November at 9pm on ITV. Viewers in Africa can catch the series from tomorrow on ITV Choice, while viewers in the US and Canada can watch via BritBox on Wednesday.
