The Nevers: 6 part season 1A

Kate Reid, The Nevers director of photography, posted more information about how The Nevers has been changed to accomodate the pandemic. Yesterday she shared some photos on her Instagram account from the final days of shooting. The new information adds more clarity to recent interviews from Denis O'Hare and Nick Frost. Tom Riley plays Augustus Bidelow in the series.

Congratulations to all the cast and crew of The Nevers. England entered a second lockdown last week, and some of the cast and crew members from HBO's The Nevers posted news that their part in the series wrapped on Sunday 8th November 2020. DP Kate Reid shared Instagram stories today revealing all, while Amy Manson shared that she had finished filming her role in the Joss Wedon directed series last week. The series started shooting in London summer 2019.

A fantastic interview with Nick Frost has been shared online by Collider. Nick reveals some amazing tit-bits about The Nevers and working with Joss Whedon. Read it all in full on Collider.com The shooting dates Nick mentions are intriguing - starting October 2019. We know that episode one wrapped before September 2019, and it all went very quiet until January 2020. Perhaps Nick is referring to his own role.

The Nevers: Nick Frost is a Joss Whedon fanboy

HBO's The Nevers cast member Nick Frost is promoting his latest project Truth Seekers, and was interviewed by RTS.org. In his interview, Nick mentioned his love for Joss Whedon and his work. The interview appears to have been conducted before September, when The Nevers started filming again following covid 19 shutdown.

HBO's The Nevers restarted shooting in London in September, following the 6 months covid lockdown. As before, nothing is being openly revealed about filming - Tom Riley teased about finally getting a haircut, but a recent interview with James Norton for The Independent threw us a new tit-bit: his character Hugo Swan runs Satanic orgy clubs!

Sending love and best wishes to the cast and crew of The Nevers as filming restarts on Joss Whedon's HBO series in London, with Tom Riley as Augustus Bidlow. Co-star Amy Manson posted about completing day 1 of the return on her Instagram account (see photo above). Tom Riley also shared a photo of his post-lockdown hair about to be cut - possibly for his role in The Nevers.

The Nevers: work starts up again

Finally there is confirmation that filming of HBO series The Nevers has restarted following shutdown because of covid 19, back in March 2020. It has been a long journey for the 10 episode sci-fi series written and directed by Joss Whedon, starring Laura Donnelly, James Norton, with Tom Riley as Augustus Bidlow.

The Nevers: Comic Con panel no longer available

Last week we were excited at the prospect of Joss Whedon's Zoom call for Comic Con 2020. As seen in the above image, The Nevers creator and showrunner was supposed to be on Zoom 5pm tomorrow 24th July. Strangely, and sadly, that event has been removed from the schedules. The only mention of Joss is as part of a conversation with Nathan Fillion.

As previously announced, this year's Comic Con will be held online, and the event organisers have started to reveal the panel schedule. For potential fans of HBO's The Nevers (Tom Riley plays Augustus Bidlow), there is exciting news. Show runner and creator, Joss Whedon will have his own panel on Friday 24th July at 5pm PST.

A new interview with James Norton, promoting his new film Mr Jones, also mentions his role in The Nevers.
