I am sure more than a few Da Vinci's Demons fans (like me), on hearing that Tom's new TV show The Collection was being filmed in Wales, wondered if they would use the same studios...

Creator of The Collection, Oliver Goldstick, confirms on Instagram that they are indeed shooting the 8 part post-war fashion drama for Amazon at the same Bay Studios in Swansea, as Da Vinci's Demons before it!

While it will be lovely for Tom to be filming somewhere familiar, after he invested so much of himself in Da Vinci's Demons for so long, it must feel a little discombobulating. Hopefully lots of the same local talent which gave us such quality in Da Vinci's Demons, will also find themselves employed again on The Collection. Ed Thomas mentions The Collection in an interview for BBC Cymru.

Other filming locations being used for The Collection apparently include Atlantic College, which was also used for season 2 of Da Vinci's Demons. So, lots of reasons for Da Vinci's Demons fans to be looking forward to The Collection. All we need now are a few scenes for Tom to film in his favourite place Fforest Fawr...
