Dancing At Lughnasa's run at the National Theatre comes to an end this evening with the final show. The cast was amazing (particularly Tom Riley as Gerry) when I saw it, and I hope the final show is as fabulous as the one I enjoyed.
Photographer Helen Murray shared some fabulous backstage photos of the Dancing At Lughnasa cast on Instagram recently, including the above photo of Tom Riley, while a few late blog reviews appeared online which praised Tom's wonderful performance as Gerry.
The final cast member is another standout with Tom Riley’s comic performance as Gerry bringing some of the biggest laughs. At times feeling like he is in a completely different show, the almost caricature nature of him works well especially when interacting with the differing Mundy sisters. All That Dazzles
