A new teaser trailer for The Nevers has been shared on a Russian you tube channel, with some fantastic new footage, though sadly no glimpses I can see of Tom Riley as Augustus Bidlow. The sci-fi drama created by Joss Whedon will broadcast on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday 11th April. Only a few other countries have confirmed their broadcast date: Germany, Austria and India will show six part series The Nevers on 12th April. UK fans will be able to watch on Sky Atlantic, but we have no date yet.
iNews shared their list of the best TV shows to watch this spring, and it includes The Nevers, while The Thrillist is also excited...
April, Sky Atlantic
Harlots meets The Umbrella Academy in this rollicking science-fiction show set in Victorian London. A group of women, referred to as the Touched, discover they have abnormal abilities and form a new underclass, derided by the rest of society. It falls to widow Amalia True and inventor Penance Adair to create a home for the women and teach them how to harness their new skills.
Tom Riley is currently in the US filming comedy thriller The Woman In The House for Netflix, alongside Kristen Bell. The second part of the first series of The Nevers is apparently in pre-production, under new showrunner Philippa Goslett. No date has been announced for filming yet.
