Tom Riley appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning, with co-star Miranda Raison, to promote new series ITV Dark Heart. If you missed the broadcast, it is available to watch again on BBC iPlayer. But be quick! It is only around for 24 hours! Watch if you can, it was a wonderfully entertaining interview. 

Tom Riley was interviewed on Channel 4's Sunday brunch and BBC Radio London's Gaby Roslin Show today. For those who missed them, or may not have easy access to see and hear the interviews, there is some good news. Both programmes will be available to see and hear online via catch-up. Even better, the Gaby Roslin interview is available ouside UK!

An interesting new interview with Tom Riley discussing new series Dark Heart was included in a Saturday Magazine yesterday (scan above). Apparently Tom has picked his detective for life! The second scan above is from this week's TV & Satellite Magazine, complete with strange photoshop photo. 

Dark Heart begins 9pm on Wednesday 31st October on ITV, part 1 of a 2 part story. Part 2 is broadcast at 9pm on Thursday. The 6 part series is aired over 3 weeks, 2 nights a week.

Highlights include: Tom's music choices, describing the new series of Dark Heart, and explaining that he may look a bit different in some new scenes in the first episodes, as he lost a lot of weight since filming in 2016. And he was very thin then!

It seems that Tom Riley is now back in the UK, getting ready to promote new series Dark Heart, which begins next Wednesday. Getty Images has shared 2 great photos of Tom at the Hampstead Theatre last night attending the press night for I and You. 

Don't forget that Tom is busy this weekend! He will be interviewed by Graham Norton on his BBC Radio 2 show tomorrow morning, and will then be appearing on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch show on Sunday.

This week's Closer magazine has a great preview for Dark Heart, describing it as a fantastic crime drama. They also describe Tom Riley's DI Wagstaffe as a 'pretty boy' (see above scan)... Available to buy online via Press Reader or in newsagents. 

This is one of those crime dramas you won’t be able to tear yourself away from. Even more so if seriously gruesome murders are your thing ...

New interviews with Tom Riley promoting the new ITV series Dark Heart are available in the current editions of various weekly magazines. The scans above are from this week's Inside Soap and Woman's Own. Full size scans are in the galleries. 

The Inside Soap interview is interesting because Tom reveals that when they initially made Dark Heart in 2016, it wasn't seen as a pilot. Also: there may be more German philosophy discussed than the interviewer may have anticipated. 

ITV has shared a video clip from the first episode of Dark Heart, which features Tom Riley as DI Wagstaffe. Part one of the first storyline from the new series begins next Wednesday 31st October at 9pm, with part two at 9pm 1st November.
