I made a little film in California the last few days. Or shot one anyway. ...The next bit is a whole new chance to blow it. BUT what we got this week exceeded what I saw in my wildest imagination.

Thank you so much to all the friends, old and new, who gave up their time and energy to realise what was a nigh on impossible schedule.

The actors - @martinstarr, #billygardell, @carriganagain and the unbelievable lead actress who couldn’t say no if she’d wanted to.

Modern Life Is Rubbish: US cinema & DVD release date

  • Alt

Cleopatra Entertainment has created a webpage for the US release of Modern Life Is Rubbish, along with a cinematic (I think) release date of 27th April 2018. The webpage has a gallery of film stills, which sadly does not include any of Tom Riley as Adrian. There is the promise of a trailer soon, and I can only hope that we see a glimpse of Tom in that. US fans can also look forward to the region 1 DVD release on June 12th 2018.

Finally some news about Extinction, after the January 2018 release date was pulled by Universal. According to Variety, Netflix has acquired the worldwide rights to the film, starring Michael Pena and Lizzy Caplan, and will release Exctinction later this year - I assume only for streaming.

Tom's character is named Chris, but we know no more than that about him.
