ITV Studios has announced that 6 part series Dark Heart, starring Tom Riley as DI Will Wagstaffe, will launch to international buyers at this month's MIPCOM in Cannes. From the press release, it doesn't look like there will be a formal screening, as we saw in recent years with The Collection and Da Vinci's Demons.

Amazon UK has shared the new book cover for Suffer The Children, by Adam Creed, to be released on October 18th as an accompaniment to the new series of Dark Heart.

A new interview with Anji Mohindra, Tom Riley's co-star in Dark Heart, has been shared online. In it, Anji mentions the show.

ITV crime thriller series Dark Heart, with Tom Riley leading the cast as DI Wagstaffe, is included in a couple of new must-see lists for Autumn TV. Of note, iNews has Dark Heart broadcast date as October / November.

According to this website, ITV Choice presented their show highlights in Cape Town this week, and for Tom Riley fans who are also DSTV subscribers there is some good news. Dark Heart will be shown sometime in November 2018 on ITV Choice throughout Africa. We don't yet know the UK broadcast date for the 6 part series, so it isn't clear if this is close to the UK series launch.

ITV still hasn't revealed a broadcast date, though it has been suggested we can expect to see it sometime in November. For those fans who remember Monroe, let's hope the 6 part crime thriller is scheduled on an appropriate night...

Both the Radio Times and Cosmopolitan have included Dark Heart, with Tom Riley as DI Wagstaffe, in their recent lists of upcoming TV dramas to look forward to this autumn. There is no broadcast date for the series yet, but at least we know that US and Canadian fans will also be able to watch via Britbox. Dark Heart is a 6 part series, which is comprised of 3 2-part stories. The first 2-part story originally aired on ITV Encore in 2016. The 4 new episodes were filmed in London March - May 2018.

ITV shared a drama preview trailer during the world cup match this eveningfor the coming autumn season, and it includes Dark Heart. There are a few glimpses of Tom Riley as DI Wagstaffe, which mainly appear to be from the pilot episode, previously screened in 2016 on ITV Encore.
