Apparently in Los Angeles at the moment to meet the new Da Vinci's Demons writing team, Tom and Gregg Chillin also found time for a couple of interviews yesterday. Access Hollywood shared their fun video online -watch below, while you can read part 1of the new EW Community interview in full on their website.

Collider: How much fun is it to play Leonardo a Vinci?

TOM RILEY: It’s fun, particularly with where we get to take him this season. It’s a proper arc. He ends the season in a very different place from where he started. 

A new and fun interview with Tom has been shared by Shortlist Magazine, along with a gorgeous photo from the Da Vinci's Demons LA press conference and photocall in March. 

The interview to see who is more middle class, between Tom and Ken Livingstone, compares answers to the same questions. We find out about Tom's fast food preferences and his golf skills. 

Two more video interviews with Tom, from last night's BAFTA Television Craft Awards, have been shared by Red Carpet News. Tom chats about filming Doctor Who, Kill Your Friends and Da Vinci's Demons. To be fair, the second interview is just a Doctor Who focused snippet.

Wire Image have posted 3 more lovely close-up photos of Tom from last night's event, including the one above. 

BAFTA has uploaded a video from last night, showing Tom presenting the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects award at the 2014 BAFTA Television Craft Awards. An unexpected pleasure for Tom, was presenting the winner's award to the Real SFX team, who are also behind the Da Vinci's Demons VFX!

A new interview with Tom, talking in depth about playing a character on the autistic spectrum, has been shared online. Read the interview in full here. 

One of the principle components of the autistic spectrum is the struggle with socialising appropriately. Was this something that was on your mind when playing Leonardo, interacting with other characters?

The new season also has da Vinci coming to terms with the effects of his "blind" quest to find the Book of Leaves. "He begins to realise what he's doing is not just having an effect on other people but him as well," Riley said. "He's not the invincible man he thought he was."

Riley will soon film a guest role for the upcoming series of Doctor Who, opposite new Time Lord Peter Capaldi. "He's such a fantastic actor. I think he's going to really shape up The Doctor," he said.

AX: You and the other DA VINCI’S DEMONS people have to talk to a lot of journalists in the course of promoting the series. Does having to talk about the work so much affect the work in any way?
