The Toll Road: Florida Film Festival screening announced

The 2019 Florida Film Festival has announced that The Toll Road, directed by Tom Riley, has been selected to screen in competition. The comedy short film, starring Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr, will be shown on Sunday 14th and Thursday 18th April 2018 at the Regal Winter Park Village in Maitland, Florida. Tickets are available via the festival website.

The Atlanta Film Festival has announced its 43rd annual festival lineup, and it includes the world premiere of The Toll Road, directed by Tom Riley. The short film, starring Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr, is featured in the 'laugh track' category.  The festival runs from April 1st - 14th 2019, so the premiere will be a great birthday gift for Tom.

Tom Riley shared photos on Instagram of himself in The Toll Road edit room, with the people from Kids At Play. Short film The Toll Road was written by Richard Galazka, directed by Tom Riley, and stars Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr and Anthony Carrigan. It was shot in California back in March 2018, before Tom started filming Dark Heart. Apart from the obvious reference in the film title, we don't actually know the synopsis.

I made a little film in California the last few days. Or shot one anyway. ...The next bit is a whole new chance to blow it. BUT what we got this week exceeded what I saw in my wildest imagination.

Thank you so much to all the friends, old and new, who gave up their time and energy to realise what was a nigh on impossible schedule.
