According to the Sepsis Alliance on Facebook, there will be a screening for Starfish in Santa Monica, California on November 6th 2016. If you would like to attend, you need to email info@sepsis.org for more information.
You may have heard of the film from the UK called Starfish. It is based on a true story of a family devastated by sepsis. It stars Joanne Froggat (of Downton Abbey fame) and Tom Riley. The movie is making its US debut on November 6 at 11 am, at ArcLight Santa Monica, 395 Santa Monica Place.
The screening is free, but it is RSVP - you must be on the list to be able to attend. If you would like to attend the screening, please contact Savannah at info@sepsis.org, so you can be added to the list.
According to a journalist on Twitter, an interview with Tom will be broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland just after 2 pm today. If you miss it, keep an eye out on the site, as the programme should be available to listen again following broadcast.
