Kill Your Friends is finally released in US cinemas today by Well Go USA. While the reviews so far have been as mixed as those following the UK release last November, the LA Times gave a deservedly nice mention for Tom as Parker-Hall, as did the NY Times!

A new interview with Tom has been shared by BAFTA Guru, in which Tom shares some insight about how Da Vinci's Demons has changed his life as an actor and producer, possibly directing in season 4, along with some Kill Your Friends tit-bits. Read it in full on the website.

So how come Da Vinci’s Demons star Tom Riley is playing the British legend in the show? In truth, we didn’t bother asking the actor that spoiler-ific question when EW jumped on the phone with him and episode-writer Mark Gatiss earlier this week.

Did you notice differences when you were filming Kill Your Friends and Doctor Who, after filming Da Vinci’s Demons for so long?

I kind of like the lack of pressure. You know, on Doctor Who, it is very much Peter’s [Capaldi] new thing, and it’s got to be right. Admittedly, I am in that episode a lot! It’s a big part, but I was really aware that it was Peter’s show, and the pressure was on him. He was brilliant with it. He was fantastic.
